LP Etiquette Class 1 Nov 6-8
We would love to have your child join us for this Etiquette class! Our Etiquette classes have been a long standing social teaching tool for students. Students will learn lessons in conversations, body language, introductions and using connectors, posture, genuine gratitude, table manners, dining etiquette, being a respectable date, how to write a thank you note and cell phone etiquette and how to look out for others and be an includer. We begin with an etiquette lesson, move to the table as we discuss table manners then conclude with Swing Dance lessons and understanding the appropriate etiquette for dancing. Each child will be required to bring one item of food to one session. Parents can sign up for a dish/item to bring closer to class time. Parents may drop off the dish or have their child bring it in. All parents will be invited to the ending of the last class session to watch the formal lead-out and several dances to see what their child has learned!!
***When this class went live and all LP 8th graders were invited to attend, it filled beyond capacity for quality instruction. We are thrilled and so thankful for such an awesome response to this class that has been offered for years to LP students. Due to the large number of students that registered, we are dividing the group into two separate, back to back weekends!
LP Etiquette Class 1 will be November 6-8
LP Etiquette Class 2 will be November 13-15
My suggestion is finding a buddy or two and planning with them which class to settle on instead of worrying about the class as a whole. Ultimately, all these children go to school together and know each other and both classes will still be large and fun filled with school acquaintances. These will be filled on a first come, first serve basis with a set capacity for each group. I WILL MAKE SURE EVERY CHILD WHO WANTS TO PARTICIPATE GETS A SPOT!!! Please please do not stress or panic over this! I truly think this will split perfectly and I will work with everyone to make sure everyone is happy! :) AGAIN- it is important you do not think about the masses- find a best buddy or two and pick which weekend with them and the rest will work its self out! :)
Because you already paid the deposit- this will NOT charge you. But you must still complete the form and “checkout” to make sure your child’s registration comes through but the "price” for this will be “$0.00” . I will email both class 1 and class 2 to collect balance payments for the class in October.
